The Fairfield Practice
The Fairfield Practice is a well-established 4 Partner training practice located in Charlton, South East London, with a list size of 12,500 patients. An ambitious, positive, outward looking and forward-thinking practice dating back to the 1960s, the practice has a strong value of providing high quality, patient centred care to the local community. The 4 Partners work with a team of 3 Salaried GPs and a number of trainee GPs. A very effective and experienced nursing team includes 1 Advanced Nurse Practitioner, 3 Practice Nurses and 2 Health Care Assistants. Members of the Blackheath and Charlton Primary Care Network, they are also supported by a team of Clinical Pharmacists, First Contact Physiotherapists, Mental Health Workers and Care Coordinators.
The practice is looking to recruit a polite and organised Care Navigator/Receptionist to join their friendly team and be the first point of contact for patients. With a compassionate and patient-focused attitude, the successful candidate will work alongside colleagues to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient service delivery. Duties will include greeting and welcoming patients, managing appointment bookings, answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and providing information about the practice’s services. In addition, the post holder will assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry and handling correspondence, maintaining patient records and ensuring confidentiality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure, as are strong IT skills. Experience of working in a GP practice or similar medical environment is desirable, as is a working knowledge of the EMIS clinical system and Docman. This is a part-time position working 20 hours over 3-4 days per week (negotiable), which will include a late shift until 6.30pm-7.00pm on a Thursday. Candidates must be flexible with their working hours to cover colleagues absences, annual leave etc. The practice is offering a competitive starting salary of £12.70 per hour, which will be increased on satisfactory completion of probation, and the opportunity to be part of a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Reception and Office Supervisor
Manor Brook Medical Centre
Manor Brook Medical Centre is a busy 12,500 patient training practice located in Kidbrooke in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. They are actively involved with Primary Care in the borough, with clinicians working within the local PCN, LMC, training, appraisals and the local health federation. They’re a welcoming and sociable bunch, with a philosophy of providing high standards of patient-centred medical care.
The practice is looking to recruit a skilled and motivated supervisor to lead reception services and any associated practice administration. This is a permanent contract working between 30 and full-time hours per week, Monday to Friday. This role is practice based and does not allow working from home. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the entire reception team and its associated functions, in accordance with practice agreed procedures, protocols and time-scales. Other duties will include overseeing all administrative tasks assigned to reception, delegating and monitoring of clerical workloads on a daily basis, and dealing with more complex enquiries from patients including informal complaints relating to reception functions. Working closely with the Practice Manager, the post holder will ensure that adequate staffing levels are met, organising rotas and cover for both clinical and non-clinical staff members, as required. They will also be responsible for overseeing the induction of new, locum or temporary staff at the point of their arrival. They will promote a harmonious and professional atmosphere amongst colleagues and provide regular evaluations of both individuals and team performance.
Candidates will need to display strong leadership skills and team building capabilities, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office software and rota scheduling systems. The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment is essential, as is the ability to handle multiple tasks. With a strong belief in providing the very highest standards of customer care, patient engagement and liaison will be at the forefront of this role, including the support and promotion of the practice’s Patient Participation Group, patient awareness events and on-line access options. Experience of working in a GP practice or a similar medical environment is preferred.

Salaried GP
Eltham Palace Surgery
Eltham Palace Surgery is a well-established GP practice situated within the Eltham Community Hospital, with a list size of 8,000 patients.
They are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Salaried GP to join their forward thinking practice. Working across a varied patient demographic, and with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of patient care are met, the successful candidate will be supported by an experienced multi-disciplinary clinical team consisting of 2 GP Partners, sessional GPs, Practice Nurses, Clinical Pharmacists and a highly committed reception/admin team.
This role is offered on a 4-6 session basis with a competitive salary of between £10,000 - £11,500 per session (depending on experience). Advanced Nurse Practitioner
Plumstead Health Centre
A friendly, well-established, purpose-built practice located just 10 minutes’ walk from Plumstead Station in South East London, Plumstead Health Centre offers a supportive environment with an ethos to provide a high standard of care to its 16,035 patients. The practice also has a branch surgery located nearby on Garland Road and forms part of Greenwich’s Unity PCN.
They are seeking an enthusiastic Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join their established team and be part of an organisation that really likes to make a difference. Working 6-8 sessions per week the post holder will complement the existing clinical team of 4 GP Partners, 2 Locum GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Practice Community Nurses, Clinical Pharmacists, MSK Specialist, Practice Nurses, Social Prescriber, Podiatrist, Nurse Associate and Physician Associate.
An experienced nurse, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care across a variety of health needs in a primary care setting. Working independently and collaboratively with colleagues, the post holder will carry out any associated clinical and administrative duties required to meet the needs of patients, support the delivery of policy and procedures and provide nurse leadership as required. Shared network cover of enhanced access services also forms part of the role with additional pay or time in lieu offered. Glyndon Medical Centre is a well-established PMS practice operating over two sites in Woolwich and Plumstead, with a list size of 7,000+ patients.
A 2 Partner practice, they are a friendly bunch whose multidisciplinary team comprises a Salaried GP, 2 Practices Nurses, Clinical Pharmacist, Physiotherapist, Social Prescriber, Mental Health Nurse and Podiatrist, who are very well supported by an experienced administrative team. Practice Nurse

Everest Health Partnership is a growing, evolving, busy South East London training practice with a population of just under 20,000 patients. Operating and delivering their service across three sites, they are planning to expand their existing friendly and supportive nursing team and are looking to recruit a competent Practice Nurse. The post holder will be expected to work across all three sites, so driving and owning a car, along with holding the appropriate UK driving licence is preferred.
A highly organised practice, their large multidisciplinary team includes GP Partners, Salaried and Trainee GPs, an Advanced Practitioner, Physician Associate, Pharmacists, Physios, a Mental Health Worker, Dietician, Practice Nurses and Phlebotomy/Health Care Assistants. They are supported by a large reception and admin team.
The successful candidate must have previous experience of practice nursing and demonstrate an understanding of general practice. Ideally they will be suitably qualified and be able to demonstrate competencies in areas of long-term conditions management, childhood and baby immunisations, vaccinations, travel, wound care and cervical screening.
